Common questions
What does HelpCarry cost?
HelpCarry is new and free to use during the beta. We take 0% commission: any fee or tip you agree goes entirely to the traveller. If we add optional paid extras later, we'll say so clearly up front.
What can I send?
Documents, clothes, small gifts and everyday items that the traveller can inspect open. Medicine, cash, valuables and anything sealed are not allowed. The rules check flags restricted items as you type.
How do I know someone is trustworthy?
Everyone signs in with Google or an email link, and reviews only appear after a completed handover. Scam Shield warns you in chat about common scams, you inspect every item before it's packed, and nobody pays before the handover. You can report or block anyone in one tap.
How does payment work?
You agree any fee in chat and settle it directly, for example at the handover. HelpCarry doesn't hold or take any money.
What if something goes wrong?
Open a dispute from the booking. Our support team replies in your HelpCarry messages, and the safety centre lists emergency contacts.
How do travel buddies work?
Post your trip. Only signed-in adult members (18+) can connect, you meet in public at the airport, and family can follow the trip with a private link.
What about customs?
Travellers inspect and declare what they carry, and can refuse anything. Our customs notes are guidance, not legal advice, so always check official sources.
